The 8′ containers are used as small storage containers. They are solid and robust, with padlock protection.
To optimise the transport cost these containers are offered together with 10′ containers, as they can be transported inside the 10′.

- Why do 8′ and 6′ containers not have a CSC plate?
8′ and 6′ containers manufactured in maritime quality are exempt from the CSC plate. These containers have smaller dimensions (narrower, shorter in length and height), which do not allow them to be treated as maritime transport units, according to the Container Security Convention (CSC).
The qualities of the materials, the manufacturing processes, and inspections of our 8′ and 6′ containers are the same as for the rest of our containers, that is why we call them “maritime quality”.
There are other types 10′, 8′, and 6′ containers on the market that are similar but manufactured with different qualities of materials, their price is lower, but the product, resistance and durability is significantly different.
